Dear Bob, Krista, Kara, Rob and families: Our deepest sympathy in the passing of your dearest wife and, mother Marylou. We had the good fortunate of meeting her in 2004, and renewed the acquaintance often while visiting from Ontario. She had a welcoming spirit, and was masterful in providing the finest New Brunswick hospitality. People were always the centre of Marylou's life, having a never ending curiosity, compassion, and authentic interest in everyone she met. A solid reputation for helping many, never ever expecting thanks, she instinctively jumped in to support others, always knowing exactly what to do.
Although, Marylou has passed and is deeply missed, she has left us with fond memories of her strength, passion for life, and her unwavering dedication to community and family.

To Bob, Rob, Krista, Kara and families. It is difficult to express how we feel, now that we have lost a friend & leader like Marylou. She put so much of herself in every thing she was involved with. She cared deeply about her family, and often spoke, fondly about family meals and events together. Friends who dropped in were always welcome to join in a meal. Her dedication to the building of the Apohaqui & Lower Millstream Recreation Centre and its continued maintenance and public use was of upper most importance to her. Marylou was ACW President for several years, initiating yearly fundraisers, working tirelessly to make each event a success. Marylou, along with Bob, was interested in the history of Apohaqui, one day to perhaps publish a book.
The community, church family, friends & family will miss her presence and 'drive' to do the best we could!

It is with sadness that we read of Marylou's passing.
Marylou gave so much to her community. Through her work in politics, the Apohaqui-Lower Millstream Recreation Council and in all of her "many" other volunteer positions. She gave freely of her time making sure Canada Day celebrations went off without a hitch (and that there was lots to do for the little ones), that the turkey and roast beef was sliced and placed properly on the plates for the many Rec. Council suppers, that everyone enjoyed their experiences at the Christmas dessert parties and that her beloved recreation hall was maintained and successful. She gave 110% to everything she did ~ the world needs more people like Marylou.
We all benefited from knowing her and from all of her work. We will miss her laugh and there is no doubt we always worked harder under her direction ~ simply trying to keep up.
Our thoughts are with her family and many close friends during this very difficult time.
Our community has lost a great member. Rest in peace Marylou.
