I was so sad to hear of Murray's passing. He was a great friend of my Dad's and he will be missed by many. I have known Murray for most of my life, he was at my wedding and after I moved to Ontario, we kept in touch at Christmas and he always came up to the house to visit when we were home in the summer.Glad to know that Dad will be keeping company with his old friend once again. I am very sad to hear of the passing of Murray. He was a life-long friend of my Father, Colby Yeomans, both of whom joined the Army together and went off to the Korean War together. My Father stayed in the Army and when we returned to Canada from West Germany when I was 10, my Dad would always take me with him to visit Murray when we were in Sussex and I always got a treat. I am glad to hear that Murray will be laid to rest next to were my Father rests in Sussex Corner. He exemplified the meaning of sacrifice to his country for which all Canadians should be grateful for. Lest we forget.Wayne YeomansOttawa30 Aug 12

I am sorry to hear of Murrays passing he was a great man and will be missed..by many....I looked after him for a while and he was fun to be with....he always told me that he was going for a drive in his old truck that he didnt have anymore and now he can go where ever he wants....xoxo

I have know Murray all my life, his Sister (Evelyn) babysat my Sister and I when we were growing up. As a little girl I used to sit with him often during his recovery from his injuries during the Korean War. As I was growing up Murray, his Mother and Sisters were like family to me and I will never forget them. My sincere condolences to Murray's family.

I was sorry to hear of Murray's passing. My late husband, Colby, was a good friend of Murray's. They served in the 8th Canadian Hussars (Militia) together and joined the Regular Forces to go to Korea and were together there in the tanks of the the Lord Strathconas(RC) Regiment. Colby visited him in hospital in Japan before returning to Canada. They remained good friends and before Colby passed away, he used to phone Murray every night to check on him. They actually will be buried beside each other at Trinity Cemetery. My thoughts are with all of your family at this time.
