John was always easy going and that big smile always got me no matter your mood you had to smile back, always the hand out for a hand shake. More times than enough I had to pick his brain about something I was working on and a couple times he picked mine just because he always wanted to learn something new. Going to miss him and the laughs we shared, another good friend gone to the other side, good night my friend see you in heaven buddy.

Our deepest condolences to John's family he was a great neighbour, and I'm especially thankful for how kind and helpful he was to my mother when she was living beside him alone. All she had to do was ask and he built things, moved furniture, laid floors, fixed her car. His suffering is over, he went through a lot these last few years! John was also full of information to my son Mike as he learned to fix his own vehicles. We moved in beside the Carharts in 1979, and at the time it was a busy full home....kids moved out got married.... Angela moved in..... Larry passed away.....Mrs. Carhart passed, and now John.... doesnt seem real that the house is empty.

Candy, Janet and John's girls, please know you are in our thoughts. John had way about him that you couldn't help but like/love him. His constant ear to ear smile, his wonderful sense of humor, his eagerness to help with whatever one needed, endeared him to many. We shared so many good times and yes, there was always a "pop" or two involved. Rest Easy John, you will be missed, but the memories will help keep you close.

I am so Sorry to read this. my condolences to the Family.. I was lucky to get to know John over the past few years . we were Mt. Middleton neighbours.
