My sincere sympathies go out to all Carols family. I was Carols roomie in SJ Regional Hospital several years back and she was a wonderful person. Even when she felt her worst she was always pushing me, and encouraging me to keep pushing to keep going! she even walked the halls with me when i felt i couldnt! What an inspiration she was! Few weeks back she was into my work to say "Hi" i had a quick chat as she needed to move on was so glad she did!! Will always be remembered and sadly missed by all who knew her! Rhonda Smith

To the family, especially Susan and Eugene, so sorry to hear about Carol. At the family reunion in Elgin in 2019, she was so hopeful and encouraged. I really appreciated always doing her utmost to attend. She was so easy to talk to and indeed was a family person. She talked about her time at the trailer and her treatments. My sincere condolences. We will miss her!
Eugene - take good care of yourself.
I do share with your grief as my husband passed in December.

Ken and family, so so sorry to hear of Carol’s death. I had no idea Carol had been so ill. As the obituary stated, Carol loved being a Mom. When working with Ken and hearing another child was on the way it seemed like old news BUT it was what Carol lived for! Her love of her children. When I think of Carol I see her smile and hear her laugh. Thinking for you all.

I am very sorry for the family's loss of Carol. She was one of the most family oriented people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Before Carol and Ken had children, I remember my days with Carol in the door yard talking as she hung out laundry and I was playing as a child. She had a soft and calming manner about her and she loved to talk and giggle. I looked forward to it and found myself going outside just to spend time with her on those summer days.
I always liked how important Carol's family was to her and how proud and happy they made her. She seemed happiest when surrounded by all of her children and husband. The more the merrier.
You will be missed and thought of often Carol. My best condolences to her family and friends.
Sincerely,
Andrew Foster

I am saddened to learn of the passing of Carol. I have known her since we were young teenagers.
Her life took a different path than mine, and we had lost touch. But when we did see one another it was as if I just saw her the day before. That would be Carol.. kind, compassionate, friendly, funny, woman of faith....and genuine.
We had made plans to get together to embark on a sojourn to Portage Vale to hunt down the final resting places of our common ancestors, the MacAnespy clan. Well, life stuff got in the way, and we never did get there, and then her health took a decline.
She fought bravely with her heath diagnosis, and always remained positive, cheerful and optimistic.
Anyone who knew Carol knew her family were her life.. she loved well and was well loved.
You will be missed my friend, well done faithful and loyal servant. Until we meet again ....
