So sorry to learn we’ve lost Harry, one of the finest Christian men I’ve been blessed to know. Our acquaintance with each other was primarily due to our mutual membership in the “Young at Heart” group at Lower Millstream United Baptist Church. Harry was an extraordinary part of our fellowship — regularly chauffeuring others to the meetings, helping prepare the coffee and tea, and, from time to time, leading the program, including a number of his memorable magic shows. He was one of those persons who would literally “give you the shirt off his back.” In the 11 years I knew him, I can’t recall him ever refusing a request. On the bright side, death has unwittingly promoted Harry to glory, ushered him into the physical presence of his Lord Jesus, and reunited him with Anne and with others who have gone on before.

We were very saddened to learn of Harry’s passing and extend our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to his family members and friends. In 1988, I formed a magic club which met monthly at the Blue Bird Motel in Sussex. That is how we first met Harry and Mary. They were regular attenders at our gatherings and Harry always performed. He was a great mentor to the younger novice magicians. He was always generous with his time to anyone willing to learn the art and techniques of escapology and magic effects. He was a good man. We will miss him. His name will be added to the Magic Circle of Saint John’s Memory Box, which honours all any member who has died. Our caring thoughts and prayers are with you, as you reflect on his life and his many contributions.
Most sincerely.

When I called a friend of his about Harry and was informed of his passing, I was stricken with grief and sadness that I couldn't function over the weekend. I have known Harry since 1984 when I saw him on a local Documentary on what the people of Saint John did a 100 years ago on the former CHSJ TV station by being a magician on the vaudeville stage. I called the station for contact and we be friends ever since. He and his lovely Anne have always given me encouragement, he was my mentor whenever I needed help. When his beloved wife pass away, I tried to visit him as often as I could where we have lunch, and took drives to locations like seeing the Autumn leaves in the surrounding forest. I saw his last Magic Act at the Balloon Festival which the kids and parents enjoyed. He is loved by his community and always stop to talk to friends. May his family knows that he and his wife will be loved and remembered by me and his legacy will live thru me. My prayers are with you

We were so saddened to hear of Harry's passing and offer caring hugs and sincere condolences to all his family. Harry's mother was my great aunt Eldred (Debby) and I thought the world of her. Harry and Ann came many times to hear our music group(Cornerstone) sing and we always enjoyed seeing them in the audience and our chats with them afterwards. A few times we performed at the same churches and I always enjoyed Harry's way of entertaining and ministering at the same time. He was a dear man and will be missed.
