To all the family
It was with sadness we learned of Anne's passing today ( May 5th ). She was a wonderful, kind lady and a good friend to my mother ( Reta McLeod ). The last time we saw Anne was about 5 years ago in West Quaco . She was sitting on a bench outside reading her story of Heidi. We had a great conversation.
A painting she did and gave to my mother in 1978 hangs in our living room and since my daughter loves it, it will be hers one day.
Our condolances go out to all the family and take care of one another.

Dear Margaret, Laura, Emily, Andrea and families,
Anne was a dear friend to me and often like a second Mom. I suspect she was a 'second' Mom to many. We shared so much over our time in art class together and also out at her cottage in St. Martin's.
Anne was truly one of the kindest and gentlest people I have ever known with never an ill word toward anyone. She did confide in me once that she really wished people would stop 'messing' around with Christmas Carols. She really preferred that a traditional song stayed that way, traditional. She had a ready smile and loved a good joke. I still make her no sugar cake recipe. I have the fondest memories of all our times together, she will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
May all the wonderful memories you all have help comfort you during this time of sorrow.
