Dear Cathy, Carolyn and Chris,
I was so sorry to read on Tuesday about your Mom.
I worked with Fran a lot of years and had so much fun doing so. Your Mom was so special to me. I still make her biscuit recipe and have so many of her beautiful pins that she painted. She was so talented in so many ways.
A cute story that I have told so many times about Fran was one day we were sitting as a group at a cafeteria table and someone asked your Mom a very personal question. Without hesitation she looked them straight in the eye and said, “Oh, didn’t I tell you?” The person leaned in to hear her answer and said, “no”. To which Fran said, “then it couldn’t have been any of your business!”
Everyone else at the table almost choked on their coffee.
Please except my deepest sympathy to each and everyone of dear Fran’s family. May your wonderful memories bring smiles to your faces and may God comfort you all.
Sincerely,
Rose Fuller

How I remember this lovely lady and colleague from my years at Public Works. In 1977, I was fresh out of Community College, young, "green behind the ears" and ever so fortunate that your mother was one of the first people I met at the Department. She was such a character, a good sport, a great sense of humour, good at her job, someone our co-workers enjoyed being around and someone I Iooked up to on both a personal and professional level. I don't recall now how long we worked together before she moved to Sussex but I do remember being sorry to see her go. My sincerest condolences on her passing to all of her family. Respectfully, Linda Gallant

There was no lady I thought more of than Fan. We met the very first meeting we held at the hall in hopes of doing different crafts in hopes of meeting and getting to know other parisheners. The only craft that survived was our interest in quilting. Fran was one that stayed with us as long as her health permitted and then kept in touch by phone after that. Fran truly entertained us with stories of her grandchildren, especially Matthew (sorry Matt). Fran was always so positive about life and ready with a laugh. I will so miss this beautiful lady but there is no more pain for her and Raymond will be greeting her with open arms.
Watch over us all Fran.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of your mom, and my cousin Fran’s passing. We didn’t see much of each other in recent years, but I have many memories of Fran in her younger years as one of my “ older cousins”. She had a ready smile, and a great laugh. I can still picture your dad, and mine, sitting outside Aunt Belles apt at Hillcrest , while the girls were inside visiting. Seems a lifetime ago. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

I will remember stopping in to Raymond and Frans and staying late! I knew they were night owls like me. Listening and laughing with Fran at Raymond’s stories. The best! I’ve wanted to go back to Goshen this long while but covid restrictions have prevented me. I was ready with Dunkin Donuts coffee to bring to Fran. I loved thru the years seeing her latest craft or quilt that she was working on. I remember as kids taking Fran to the river for a swim. The terrain to get there was a bit rougher than she expected! But how fun that she came with us! Great memories of a lovely lady who I’ll miss. God bless her.
