Claude was always liked so much by all the Kings and I will always remember going into the shop and seeing his sweet smile. There is nothing that I can say to ease your pain of losing such a great person, just know that I care and I will always remember him.

I remember Claude and Dad in the back shop, fixing TVs. More laughter came out of that back shop! They were sure enjoying what they were doing.
People would come as far as Fredericton to get Claude and Dad to fix their TVs. They were the best!
They certainly knew what they were doing, and everyone knew it. As time went on and transistors came out, Dad wasn't up to the new technology, but Claude was! So when an older TV that had tubes came in, Claude would give it to Dad. They were a perfect pair.
I sure wish I had Claude's hair!

My memory of Claude goes back many many years. Although I was just a kid at the time I remember how pleased my mother would be when Claude would drop by and play some music for us. He was always very kind and soft-spoken. So sorry for all as he surely will be missed.

Dear Aunt Barb & Family,
We were so sorry to hear of Uncle Claude’s passing. I remember him as a very quiet man, but he always had a little grin that made you wonder what he was thinking. I always thought of him as “Hollywood handsome “ with his beautiful wavy hair and never one out of place. Our hearts go out to all the family and pray that you feel comfort and strength at this sad time and in the days and weeks ahead.
Love,
(Niece) Maxine & Larry

Aunt Barb, I was sorry to hear about uncle Claude's passing. I loved him as much as I loved my Dad. He was always so funny & couldn't wait to say, "did you hear the one about". Him & Dad would keep us in stitches with their stories about the "old" people that they grew up with. Some of the stories or songs they made up weren't to be told around children or some women so they would go to the barn or outdoors with the other men to tell them. The Williams family were all musical in their own way. Grampy played at kitchen parties before & after him & Grammy were married so the children came by it honest. Dad, uncle Claude & aunt Annabelle loved to get together & play & sing at house parties. Dad was good but he always said uncle Claude was better. Uncle Claude used to get nose bleeds when he was a young child & when he started to school & they had to walk a long distance to get to school Dad would have to carry him & make sure no one picked on him. Over the years the Williams boys became known as scrappers & most guys steered clear of a fight with them. There are so many stories that could be told about uncle Claude & his siblings. The main thing is his love of family. No matter what we all loved uncle Claude & we are sad for the loss of another family member. Hopefully the stories will be retold even if not in the same way that uncle Claude had because he had a real knack for story telling. God Bless you uncle Claude.
