We were all so lucky to have known this amazing woman over the last 20 years. To have watched her love story grow, show what a loving mother she was, her dedication to her art and the all encompassing love she showed her friends. I had a circle of friends when they all fell away Talon was the only one that stuck by me. She encouraged me to paint and develope my art. She gave the best hugs. I will miss her so much. I am so sorry for your family's loss. Talon was truly an amazing person and she was truly loved.

Oh Talon. Where do I start. 20 yrs ago Vern and I met you at Tim Hortons with Doey. You were the one. You loved him, kept him grounded , supported him, through good and bad times, you were the best daughter in law anyone could ask for. You're kindness, thoughtfulness, never went unnoticed. Vanessa, or Talon as we longingly knew her, was part of my soul family from the moment we met and bonded over our mutual love of all things Halloween & Spooky. Like a big sister, she was always there with a listening ear and advise that would make me laugh through the tears and always hit the mark. She will be loved and missed, by many, many people. Talon, Doey and Neisha will always be family, loved and cherished forever.

Talon was my love , my life , my heart and soul my partener in crime, my queen but most importantly my best friend . She is what i would consider perfection ...and for 20 yrs we shared and grew our life together. We lived and loved and had a million Doey and Talon THINGS that will forever remind me of her no matter where i go...no matter what i do , she will is everywhere ...she is my everything . After my grief has subsided and i am able to make any sense of all this...her love and her art will forever guide me to a better life and make me a better man I love u Talon with everything i am and everything u helped me to become I will love you every minute of every day Until we meet again I am your King Forever

To all of us younger cousins Vanessa was always an entertainer. Rather it be to keep us out of nannies way while she was making homemade cookies and donuts or she did it to see our reaction to the stories she would tell, she would always hold the interest of us all, and our parents were all grateful for that i am sure.

Vanessa or Talon as I knew her was a wonderful friend. I met her about 8 years ago and felt her friendship right away. When my dad passed away 7 years ago, she knew that I was an Elvis fan and she drew a picture for me. I was always excited to go to functions where I knew we might see each other!!!
