Obituary of Vanessa Mae Nash

It is with great sadness that the family of Vanessa Mae Nash announces her sudden passing, which occurred on May 30 in Windsor, ON. Born in Sussex, NB, on May 6, 1977, she is a daughter of Wanda (Vail) Thorne and the Late Hanson Nash.

Vanessa is survived by her partner, Robert “Doey” Brian Armstrong of Windsor, ON; her children: Ashton M^cHugh of Jemseg, NB, and Neisha M^cHugh of Windsor, ON; and her mother, Wanda Thorne, of Jemseg, NB. Vanessa is also survived by several aunts and uncles and cousins.

Along with her father, Vanessa was predeceased by her grandparents, Sterling and Lena Vail; her uncles, Garnet Vail and Dana Vail; and her cousins, R.J. Vail and Trish Anne Vail.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176) from where a visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 7, from 5-8pm in the Wallace Community Chapel. A Celebration of Vanessa’s Life will take place from the Mill Cove Church of God on Wednesday, June 8 at 2pm. Interment will follow at the Mill Cove Cemetery.
