Sending much love and heart-filled condolences for the passing of Murray. I only had the chance to meet my uncle Murray a few times because of living across the country from each other, but I sincerely remember his welcoming smile and readiness to play. I recall what a humble and welcoming host he was and of course the garden tours in the wagon. Murray made an impression on me and my brother. Attending the livestream of his Celebration of Life today, brought back beautiful memories of Murray, of being out in Sussex with aunty Pat and his daughters at their house and having a lobster feast by the pool. My prayers and love are with you all in Sussex right now. Murray will be deeply missed.

Murray was a close high school friend and we played many a practical joke on unsuspecting class mates and even a teacher or two. Alas the years took us down different roads and contact and reunions grew fewer and fewer but when an occasion occurred to reunite, it was as if we talked just yesterday. The warm greeting, the smile, the stories. My wife, Beth, and I fondly remember double dating in those early day and all the fun we had. Murray truly was one of a kind. A great Pacific Coast Fishing Trip and a walk-about on some funky Islands. Peggy and Murray caught a lot of fish that day, the rods were kept busy as were the cellphone calls back to the East Coast bragging for each fish caught.

It was a complete joy to read the write-up of Murray's life - it said it all, very nicely put together. I know it all to be true as I knew Murray and Pat my entire life. He was a vibrant, kind, thoughtful soul and a great friend to all. Murray will be very much missed and very well remembered. I was happy to have met Peggy a couple of times over the past few years and I am certain Murray felt blessed to have had the two lovely ladies share his life. There is only one thing I am not sure about - was it Murray who put me in the pig pen all those years ago, or was it my brother?? Raymond will also be saddened to learn of Murray's death.
