I was very blessed to have met Louella. She had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh that would make everyone else laugh too. I don't know how many times I heard the story of her falling through the barn floor or the time she picked up the skunk thinking it was a cat - each time she shared her stories, they touched you. She sure taught me a lot about life. My prayers and thoughts are with you all during this difficult time. She will be missed. Heaven has another angel.....a singing, dancing angel. Love you Louella.

Louella was a quiet and gentle presence....until the music started! And then, look out! She loved to "have a time" dancing and toe tapping. When I told my father that a good friend of the Phillips family had passed by the name of Louella Allen, he said he knew her, much to my surprise! He told me she was the lady that always sat in the front row of the country music shows at the school and danced in the isle when the fiddle music started. He was sure no one enjoyed those shows more than she. Such a small world...... May Louella rest in peace and fond memories bring comfort to family and friends.

Louella was one of the sweetest ladies we ever met. She had the memory of an elephant and according to Shelley and Marty, she was sharp right up to the day of her stroke. She loved people and also liked to be teased. Once when we came for Canadian Thanksgiving, she asked where that funny guy was--she meant Neil, so he must have teased her. She was so blessed to have the love of the Phillips and all her other adopted kinfolk. God has reserved a special place in heaven for women like Louella.

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of Louella. The last time I saw her was at a musical variety show in Norton. She got up and did a little dance to the fiddle music in front of her seat. I have fond memories of her enjoying music, It was great to see her happy.
