Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Pearson

It is with deep sadness that the family of Elizabeth A.B. Pearson announce her passing at home on November 15, 2022 at the age of 78.

Born in Saint John, NB on July 5, 1944. She was the daughter of the late James and Melva (Aiton) Hornbrook.

She will live on in the hearts of her loving husband, Hoyt and her children: Dwayne (Clare) of Mount Middleton, Denise Chisari (Joe) of Naples, Main and James (Jane) of Chamcook and her grandchildren: Kyle Pearson, Jared and Liam Chisari, Ethan and Gwen Pearson; her brothers: Ronald Hornbrook (Nancy) of Mount Middleton and Robert Hornbrook (Barbara) of Edmonton, AB; her brother-in-law, Clarence Pearson and her sisters-in-law: Hilda Gillies and Flora Gamblin (Donald); as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her sister-in-law, Martina Pearson and brothers-in-law, Howard Pearson and Myles Gillies.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, from where visitation will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 1-3 and 6-8pm. A Celebration of Elizabeth Ann’s life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 11:00am followed by a reception. The interment will take place in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Highfield.

Memorials may be made to the St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Highfield, Extra Mural Sussex, the Stan Cassidy Foundation or charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences to the family and donations may be made through wallacefuneralhome.com
