What a beautifully scripted story of Dorie’s life ..one filled with memories.
I learned today, from one of Dorie’s sisters , that when I was a child, back in the 50’s, Dorie cared for me and my other siblings when our Mother was dying. I was too young to remember that.
Wish I had been able to say “thank You for that care and love” , before now…

Very sorry to hear of Dories passing. Enjoyed a few bonfires on Magnolia and chats whenever we met in town or out to lunch. Dorie was such a sweet lady and always welcoming. Her love and dedication to her family was obvious and our sympathy to all who will miss her dearly.
