Harold was born in Birsay, Saskatchewan on May 3, 1929 and was the son of the late Harold and Mary Ellen (Allen) Sharp. With education being his passion, Harold taught Business Administration at the University of New Brunswick from 1963 to 1992. He also served as Don for Bridges House from 1975 to 1984. Harold was a very kind hearted man. He helped out many people in need throughout his life, whether it was helping someone pay their rent or buy food. He was also very generous with countless organizations that he supported. Harold is survived by his brother Bev of Sussex; his special cousin Lorna Pearce of Halifax as well as other cousins in surrounding areas. Mr. Harold Allen Sharp of Fredericton passed away on March 14, 2012 at the age of 82. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). In keeping with Harold's wishes, there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Harold's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 11:00am. There will be a time of fellowship with Harold's family and friends immediately following the service in the Wallace Funeral Home Reception Area.
